Hibiscus
Hibiscus is a pretty plant with beautiful dark pink flowers. Its flowers are used to make bissap, a sweet and sour beverage that is extremely popular in West Africa. The taste of hibiscus is rather bitter, similar to that of cranberry.

To prepare the bissap, simply infuse the hibiscus flowers with water and sugar and cool. Simply 2 or 3 teaspoons of dried flowers for 1 litre of water. You can brew for 10 minutes in boiling water or cold water overnight. Of course, this beverage can also be enjoyed hot.
This plant is full of antioxidants and is said to have anti-inflammatory and antifungal effects.
